Harold Franklin Foster was born on 1921 in Cooleemee, North Carolina and joined the US Army on September 2, 1942. He went on to serve with the Medical Department and deployed to the Pacific, serving with 80th General Hospital in New Guinea and in the Philippines. He was discharged on January 14, 1946 as a Corporal, and passed away on May 29, 1992.
