Genuine WWII US leaflet, intended for the last German troops still defending Cherbourg and its surrounding after General von Schlieben's surrender. This early example of psychological warfare aimed at demoralizing the enemy, hoping for their subsequent surrender. Text is printed in German only.

Numbered ZG.20, the present leaflet was air-dropped between July 6 and July 12, 1944. In good condition. Dimensions: 5.2" x 8.5".
