Lot, 12 Forms, V-Mail, Blank, in their Envelope

Lot of twelve genuine WWII US Army V-Mail blank forms, coming in their original envelope.

In order to standardize, hasten and facilitate the shipping and delivery of the mail written by servicemen stationed overseas, the US Army instituted the V-Mail system in 1942; the message would be written on a special form which was then photographed on 16mm film by the theater of operations processing center.

Nice homogeneous lot, in good overall condition.
