Silas Lloyd Jackson was born on December 6, 1911 in Clark, Illinois and joined the US Army on January 5, 1943. He went on to serve with the Headquarters Company of the Infantry Replacement Training Center at Camp Ellis and was discharged on January 25, 1946 as a Staff Sergeant. He passed away on April 15, 1957.
