Dog Tags, Pfc. Okey Mitchem, Battery C, 359th Field Art. Bn., 95th Infantry Division, ETO

Pair of genuine WWII US Army dog tags, of the early production Monel type, issued to some Okey H. Mitchem, ASN 35438374, vaccinated in 1942 and 1943, blood type O, with name and adress of next-of-kin — here, his father.

Homogeneous set, in quite good overall condition, coming along with a pair bead chain.

Okey Henry Mitchem was born on July 19, 1922 in Harper, West Virginia and joined the US Army on July 27, 1942. He went on to serve with Battery C, 359th Field Artillery Battalion, 95th Infantry Division, deployed to Europe, and was discharged on November 29, 1945. He passed away on July 30, 1989.
