Genuine WWII US M-1942 machete, 18-inch blade, made by DISSTON and dated 1943; black bakelite grips. Comes in its original OD 3 canvas scabbard dated 1942.
Such machetes were, amongst other branches of service, quite popular with American paratroopers and Marines manning the .30 machine gun.
Homogeneous set in good, used condition.
