Genuine WWII US russet leather holster intended for the Colt M1911A1 pistol, .45 caliber.
To be attached to the pistol belt; issued to all branches of service -- Army, Navy, Marines...
Manufactured in 1944 by Walsh -- one of the rarest holster manufacturers known so far.
Quite good overall condition; retains its bent-wire hook.
The outer surface has been dyed black, and the flap features some US Marine Corps Eagle, Globe, and Anchor insignia (Korean War or Vietnam War era).
Pistol is not included.
