Aronal Franklin Faga was born on April 26, 1910 in Adair, Iowa and joined the US Navy on September 12, 1942 (service number 640-62-20). He went on to serve with 31st Naval Construction Battalion and deployed to the PTO twice -- from December 1st, 1942 to October 31, 1943, and from December 28, 1944 to October 9, 1945. Discharged on October 27 of that year as a Carpenter's Mate 2nd Class, he passed away on February 26, 1966.
