Grouping, Pvt. John Breen, USAAF

Genuine WWII USAAF grouping, which includes the following items:

- khaki canvas barrack bag, dated December 1st, 1942 and on the outer surface of which name John F. Breen and ASN 16135739 have been stenciled;

- small bag intended for personal belongings and on which last name Breen has been written;

- Type B-5 flying helmet, made in horse leather and lined with sheep's wool, manufactured by Air Associates, Inc. (size: Medium);

- light flying helmet, made in unbleached cotton cloth and showing no markings.

Nice homogeneous lot, in very good overall condition.

John Francis Breen was born on June 29, 1913 in Chicago, Illinois and joined the Air Corps on October 17, 1942. He passed away on July 27, 1992.
