Genuine WWII US M1 carbine magazine pouch, second type.

Manufactured by St. Croix G. Co. in 1944.

This version was not intended for taking place on the stock, yet some piece of gear fitted with the bent-wire hook could be attached to the eyelets.

Good overall condition; the two small holes visible on the back indicate that the present pouch was later used by the French Army.
