Scarce and nice genuine WWII US Women's Army Corps grouping, made up of an OD wool serge uniform (jacket and skirt) with khaki shirt and necktie, which belonged to Corporal Ruth J. Bennett.

Homogeneous set, in excellent overall condition, complete with all buttons. The jacket retains its original insignias: generic US Army Air Forces shoulder patch embroidered on felt, Corporal rank stripes, US and Air Corps collar discs, and medal ribbons (American Campaign Medal and WWII Victory Medal). Laundry number B2628 has been inked in the collar. The Conmar zipper of the skirt is in working order. The shirt has a small tear.

A dog tag issued to Ruth J. Bennett, ASN A-202628, vaccinated against tetanus in 1943 and 1944, blood type AB, Catholic, completes this great grouping.

Ruth Joan Bennett was born on March 25, 1919 in New York City and joined the US Army on January 27, 1943. She was discharged on December 4, 1945 as a Corporal and married William J. Schwarz, Jr. on July 17, 1948. She passed away on October 16, 2002.
