Rare genuine WWII US Army Nurse Corps regulation officer's jacket, made in 'chocolate' shade wool gabardine and based on the men's 'Ike Jacket'.
Excellent overall condition; retains all original buttons along with the following insignias: Seventh Army shoulder sleeve insignia (right-hand sleeve), U.S. and Army Nurse Corps collar insignias, ribbon bar (European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with five Stars), and Overseas Service Bars. Rank insignias are missing.
The name tag sewn in the collar indicates that the present uniform once belonged to some Mary Ann McCarthy.
