Amazing genuine WWII US Army legging top laced leather boots with distinctive toe cap, introduced for the cavalry in 1940 and widely issued to tank crews and motorcyclists; the legging top is tightened with three straps featuring pin buckles.
This type of high boots was worn through the end of war by several senior officers, including General George S. Patton.
Manufactured by International Shoe Co. and dated April 15, 1941. Size 9 D.
Homogeneous pair, in excellent overall condition; partial ASN M-2276 has been written in both boots.
