Great genuine WWII US Army M1938 map case, manufactured by American Leather Products Corp. and dated 1942.
Excellent overall condition; retains its rhodoid and sling, and comes along with a wide range of Allied maps covering the French Riviera, and a couple of others covering Alsace.
Name Lnt Trenque Paul has been written on every single map, along with one of the two following mentions: Débarquement Méditerranée, août 1944 or Campagne de France 1944, l'offensive d'Alsace.
Nice and rare homogeneous set, which belonged to an officer of the 1ère Division Française Libre.
