Genuine WWII US Army M7 waterproof rubber bag, intended for the M5 assault gas mask.
On D-Day, the latter was mostly issued to paratroopers of the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions, and first-wave amphibious units -- 2nd and 5th Ranger Battalions, 1st, 4th and 29th Infantry Divisions.
Complete and in very good overall condition despite the tear visible on one of the two straps.
Gas mask is not included.
