Genuine German M1874 short spade, of the standard regulation type used during both World Wars. Overall length: 20.4in.

Good, used condition. The blade shows remnants of green paint and features the following markings: 4E and G408.

The present artifact comes from a significant collection built up by a Norman collector in the last thirty years.
