Scarce genuine WWII German wooden sign, bearing mention Rotes Kreutz (Red Cross) and indicating the direction of Flers.

Good overall condition despite normal weathering signs. The rear is partly burnt. The present panel was found in Flers, Orne, where units of the II. SS-Panzerkorps were stationed.

Dimensions: 6.6in x 19.3in.

The present artifact comes from a significant collection built up by a Norman collector in the last thirty years.
