Scarce genuine WWII tryptich mirror, diverterd from its original purpose by the addition of two charcoal drawings: a portrait of Adolf Hitler on the left side, and a portrait of Léon Degrelle on the right side. The latter was the leader of the Rexist Party, a far-right, Catholic movement which became the most prominent collaborationist group in French-speaking Belgium.

Both drawings are dated 1938, but Léon Degrelle's portrait was probably modified afterwards: as a matter of fact, he is shown with the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross -- which he was awarded on February 20, 1944 -- while his collar shows the ᛋᛋ-Sturmbannführer rank insignia -- to which he was promoted in April of that year. The emblem of the Rexist Party has been drawn below the portrait itself, along with mention 'Vaincra' (will triumph); a skull-and-bones metal badge has been placed under the glass, leading to the breaking of the latter.

Overall dimensions when unfolded: 23.2in x 9.4in.
