Great genuine pre-WWII German bayonet for Mauser 98k, manufactured by Carl Eickhorn in Solingen and dated 1938. Number 7702r is clearly visible on the ricasso while Waffenamt 253 has been stamped twice on the pommel. Red bakelite replacement grips (late war). Locking system is in working order.
The present bayonet is in very good overall condition and comes in a original steel scabbard, also manufactured by Carl Eickhorn in Soligen in 1938, and bearing number 4136p.
