Genuine pre-WWII German regulation field canteen, of the standard 27-oz type. Aluminium bottle and screw cap manufactured by OLHM and dated 1938.
Complete with original felt cover, leather strap -- pin buckle and snap hook are still in working order -- and black-painted aluminium cup, manufactured by MN and dated 1940.
Homogeneous set in quite good overall condition.
