Printed in English, this propaganda document was intended for being dropped over enemy lines in order to demoralize American troops.
The main text aims at persuading GIs to address a request to their chain of command in order to be relieved from active combat duty, so that they don't get captured, wounded or killed; the text visible overleaf is supposed to be the reproduction of some handwritten request, submitted by four servicemen of Company G, 60th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division.

The Code provides additional penalties, including the confiscation of the items used or intended for committing the offence.
