Nice genuine WWII German bayonet for Mauser 98k, manufactured by F.u.K. Hörster in Solingen and dated 1941 -- see hallmark 41 asw.
Serial number 4708 o is clearly visible on the ricasso; bakelite grips; locking system is in working order.
Comes in its original steel scabbard, along with a blackened-leather bayonet frog, also dated 1941.
Markings stamped on the scabbard are identical to those present on the blade (41 asw and 4708 o).
Rare homogeneous set, in good overall condition.
The blade has been particularly well preserved.
