Correspondence, Epistolary, ᛋᛋ-Sturmmann Herman Sifferlen, 6. ᛋᛋ-Gebirgs-Division „Nord“, Lapland, 1942-1944
Genuine WWII German epistolary correspondence, made up of a postcard, two letters written on the standard regulation form intended for military correspondence (Feldpostkarte), and two letters written on plain sheets.
Written by various comrades from January 1942 to January 1944, the above-mentioned documents were all sent to some ᛋᛋ-Mann (later ᛋᛋ-Sturmmann) Herman Sifferlen, whose Feldpostnummer indicates that he may have been hospitalized in a Kriegslazarett in 1942 prior to returning to his outfit the following year -- an artillery unit of 6. ᛋᛋ-Gebirgs-Division „Nord“. At that point, the division was deployed in Lapland, Finland against the Red Army.

Great homogeneous set, in quite good overall condition.
