Nice genuine WWII German bayonet for Mauser 98k, manufactured by JOS. CORTS in Solingen in 1939 -- see hallmark 39.
Serial number 5887 c is clearly visible on the ricasso; brown bakelite grips; locking system is in working order.
Comes in its original steel scabbard, along with a russet leather bayonet 1st type frog, dated 1942.
The scabbard bears the same production number as the bayonet (5887 c).
Rare homogeneous set, in good overall condition.

The Code provides additional penalties, including the confiscation of the items used or intended for committing the offence.
