Rare genuine WWII French leaflet, printed in 1942.

This pro-German propaganda document aims at highlighting the extent of the losses sustained by the Allies on the occasion of the large raid launched on Dieppe, Normandy, France on August 19, 1942 -- Operation Jubilee.

Excellent overall condition.

Dimensions when folded: 5.94in x 8.38in.

A lot of nine German photographs (original prints), taken afther raid and showing dead and captured Canadian troops, completes the present set.

For the record, over 900 Canadians lost their lives at Dieppe or in the ensuing months of captivity.
