Soldbuch, Ob. Gefr. Hans Fuhrmann, Heer, 83. Infanterie-Division, Eastern Front

Rare genuine WWII German Soldbuch, which belonged to some Obergefreiter Hans Fuhrmann, 83. Infanterie-Division.

Born on July 12, 1910 he joined the Heer in early 1940, was promoted to the rank of Gefreiter on September 1st, 1941 and Obergefreiter on July 1st, 1943. 

He went on to serve with 7. Kompanie, Infanterie-Regiment 257 prior to transferring to Schlächterei-Kompanie 183, was awarded the Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwerten (War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords) on March 5, 1942, the Ostmedaille (Eastern Front Medal) on August 10, 1942, and the Vermundetenabzeichen in Schwarz (Wound Badge, Black) on March 20, 1945.

Complete and in quite good, used condition; comes along with various personal documents: butcher's business card issued by Bremen Chamber of Skilled Trades and Crafts in 1939, award certificates of the aforementioned medals and insignia, discharged certificate issued in August 1945...
