Genuine WWII USAAF Type B-8 Polaroid flying goggle, intended for aircrews.
Offering a wide field of vision, this black molded-rubber type soon became popular in other branches of service, such as armored crews.
Good overall condition; comes with its instruction sheet and various spare lenses in their cloth pouch: untinted, light green (polarizing lens for glare protection on normal days), dark green (polarizing lens for glare protection on exceedingly brilliant days) and red (dark adaptor).
Laundry number L 7229 has been inked on the elastic band and on the cloth pouch.

The Code provides additional penalties, including the confiscation of the items used or intended for committing the offence.
