Genuine WWII US M1 helmet of the Military Police, with front seam and fixed bales, manufactured by McCord, shell number 143B , without chinstrap. Initials MP have been hand-painted on both the front and the back of the shell. Some bullet or shrapnel has pierced the right rear section of the present helmet.
