Genuine WWII US Army olive drab wool knit cap, standardized in February 1942 and intended for wearing in cold weather under the steel helmet. Known as the 'Beanie' or 'Jeep Cap', it features a short stiff brim to cover the ears. Label is missing but size seems to correspond to Medium.
Good overall condition despite some minor moth damage.
