Boylston Bowlby Bass was born on April 7, 1905 in Yukon, Oklahoma. A National Guard officer, he was inducted into Federal Service on September 16, 1940 as a Captain (officer's ASN O-250303). Promoted to the rank of Major on January 30, 1941 and to Lieutenant Colonel on June 18, 1942, he deployed to the Pacific as Secretary of the General Staff of the Sixth Army. He passed away on May 29, 1982.

The Code provides additional penalties, including the confiscation of the items used or intended for committing the offence.
