

Rare genuine WWII US Army grouping, which belonged to some Corporal Milford E. Keeney and includes the following items:
- dog tag issued to Keeney, Milford E., ASN 39918567, vaccinated in 1943 and 1944, blood type O, Protestant, retaining one of its bead chains;
- Bronze Star;
- Purple Heart, coming in its case along with ribbon bar and lapel badge;
- ribbon bar with three ribbons (European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with two Stars, Good Conduct Medal, and Purple Heart);
- sterling silver Combat Infantryman Badge (clutch back);
- 99th Infantry Division shoulder sleeve insignia.
Nice homogeneous set, in very good overall condition.
Milford Eldon Keeney was born on March 25, 1925 in Peculiar, Missouri and joined the US Army on July 15, 1943. He went on to serve with Company C, 395th Infantry Regiment, 99th Infantry Division and deployed to Europe, where he was wounded in action in early 1945. He was discharged on August 11, 1947 as a Corporal, and passed away on May 14, 1974.
