Homogeneous set, in excellent overall condition; a list of recipients, dated April 11, 1945, completes the present lot — some Sergeant Kenneth R. Horn, ASN 36478559, wounded in action on April 6, 1945 in Germany, appears on this list.
Kenneth Ray Horn was born on February 1st, 1923 in Atlanta, Illinois and joined the US Army on March 24, 1943. He went on to serve with Company D, 13th Infantry Regiment, 8th Infantry Division and deployed to Europe, where he was wounded in action in the Ruhr Pocket on April 6, 1945. Awarded the Bronze Star, he was discharged as a Sergeant, and passed away on July 9, 1977.
