Name Harold G. Schaible has been engraved on the reverse of the medal, while number 468277 is visible on its edge.
Complete and homogeneous set, in very good overall condition.
Harold George Schaible was born on December 16, 1923 in Detroit, Michigan and joined the US Army on March 12, 1943 (ASN 36583893). He deployed to Europe in August 1944, went on to serve with Company B and later Company C, 121st Infantry Regiment, 8th Infantry Division, and was killed in action on November 30 of that year in Germany. He was buried in the Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery and Memorial in Belgium (Plot C, Row 5, Grave 13).
