Genuine WWII US Bronze Star Medal, coming in its original case along with lapel badge.

Nice homogeneous set, in excellent overall condition.

Name Corwin M. Clemons has been engraved on the reverse of the medal.

Corwin Michael Clemons, known as 'Mike', was born on April 17, 1906 in Waunakee, Wisconsin, joined the National Guard on October 15, 1940 and was inducted into Federal Service on October 17, 1942 (ASN 20650078). He went on to serve in various units and deployed to Europe with 260th Infantry Regiment, 65th Infantry Division, prior to transferring to 47th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division. He was discharged on October 17, 1945 as a Staff Sergeant, and passed away on July 17, 1980.
