Genuine WWII Japanese Type 4 ceramic hand grenade, white.

Due to a general shortage of metals, these ceramic grenades were produced in 1944-1945 as weapons of 'last resort' and widely issued to Japanese troops during the battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa. 

Very good overall condition. The body of the present grenade is empty and harmless.
