Knife, MK 2, ROBESON CUTLERY CO., US Navy, with Leather Scabbard

Great and rare genuine WWII US Navy Mk 2 combat knife, hallmarked U.S.N. MK 2 and R.C.C. on the guard, indicating a production by Robeson Cutlery Co.

Comes in its original russet leather scabbard, at the back of which initials L.G. have been engraved. The securing strap has been moved downwards, thus surrounding the grip just above the lower guard -- snap fastener is in working order.

Homogeneous set, in good overall condition.
