Knife, Trench, M1918, L.F.&C., with Scabbard

Rare genuine WWI US Army M1918 Trench Knife, featuring the characteristic knuckle cast handle and double-edged blade.

Manufactured by L.F.&C. in 1918.

This type was widely issued to US Rangers, Marines and paratroops during WWII, until officially superseded by the USM3 in 1943 -- however, many warriors would still prefer the M1918 Trench Knife, as seen in numerous wartime photos.

Good overall condition; no modification.

Comes in its original metal scabbard, also hallmarked L.F.&C. and dated 1918.
