Great genuine WWII New Zealand fighting knife, featuring a 6.2-inch double-edged blade.
The checkerd grip and four-point knuckle guard are fashioned out of a single block of cast aluminium, thus giving the whole assembly solidity and lightness all at once.
This type, which was issued to the 3rd New Zealand Division in the Pacific, was also used by some elements of the USMC.
Comes in its original russet leather scabbard, which retains its securing strap with fastener (in working order).
Nice homogeneous set in good, used condition.
