Knife, Trench, M1918, L.F. & C., with Scabbard, Leather

Rare genuine WWI US Army M1918 trench knife, featuring the characteristic knuckle cast handle and double-edged blade.

Manufactured by L.F. & C. in 1918.

This type was widely issued to US Rangers, Marines and paratroopers during WWII, until officially superseded by the USM3 in 1943. However, many warriors still preferred the M1918 Trench Knife, as seen in numerous wartime photos.

Good overall condition; the left side of the guard has been cut off.

Comes in its original russet leather scabbard; snap fastener of securing strap is in working order.
