Great genuine Vietnam War US Army M1 helmet, rear rim seam and swivel loops; shell number 1 1055 A.

Original canvas chinstrap with steel buckle and hook.

Dated March 19, 1969, the liner retains its OD cotton web suspensio, russet leather sweatband and black-painted A washers. 

Comes with a genuine Mitchell Pattern reversible camouflage helmet cover -- contract number indicates year of production 1965.

Nice homogeneous set in good, worn condition.
