Nice genuine WWII US Army M1 helmet, front seam and fixed loops, manufactured by McCord, shell number 625D. Original chinstrap with steel buckle and hook. The outer surface of the shell retains most of its original paint; a Lieutenant Colonel rank insignia has been welded on the front. The following mention has been inked in the shell: Wm. A. Brown Lt. Col. IGD.

Comes with its original liner, manufactured by Westinghouse, complete with khaki cotton web suspension and neckband, russet leather sweatband, and OD-painted A washers; a Major rank insignia has been painted on the front.

Homogeneous set in very good, worn condition, featuring a camouflage net.
