Liner, Helmet, M1, SEAMAN PAPER CO., 3rd Armored Division

Genuine WWII US Army M1 helmet liner, manufactured by Seaman Paper Co. The outer surface retains most of its original paint and features a decal showing a read spearhead on a yellow background above mention Spearhead, thus indicating a probable use within the 3rd Armored Division.

Complete with cotton web suspension and neckband, leather sweatband and plain A washers (partly oxidized). Some ASN and name have been handwritten inside but both are now hardly legible.

Good, worn condition.
