Scarce genuine WWII US Army M1 helmet liner of the 'low pressure' type manufactured by St. Clair Rubber Co.
Full rayon web suspension, rayon leather sweatband, first type rectangular shaped washers (oxidized). This liner retains one half of its leather chinstrap.
Nice field worn condition.
The present artifact comes from a significant collection built up by a Norman collector in the last thirty years.
