Helmet, M1, Fixed bales, Military Police (MP)

Genuine WWII US M1 helmet of the Military Police, fixed bales, manufactured by McCord Radiator, shell number 422A, with 1st type canvas chinstrap, brass hook and buckle. 

The letters 'MP' are painted in white in front of the shell ; a white band is also painted around the helmet. 

In excellent overall condition.
