Intresting genuine WWII US Army M1 helmet, front rim seam and fixed loops, manufactured by McCord, shell number 51C 2.
Original canvas chinstrap with brass buckle and hook.
Mentions 6 Rec. Sta. and Rec. Sta. have been respectiveley stenciled on the front and on the rear of the shell, the first one in silver paint and the second in black paint.
Comes along with its original liner, manufactured by Firestone, retaining its webbing suspension and neckband, leather sweatband, OD-painted A washers, and leather chinstrap (damaged); letters GAS have been carved on the inner surface of the liner, while some laundry number has been written on the suspension.
Quite good, worn condition.
