Helmet, M1, Swivel Loops

Genuine WWII US Army M1 helmet, front rim seam and swivel loops, manufactured by McCord and bearing shell number 1061 E.

Original canvas chinstrap fitted with brass buckle and hook.

The outer surface of the shell shows remnants of paint and some insignia, now hardly identifiable, was once painted on the front left side.

Quite good overall condition.
