Nice genuine WWII US Army M1 helmet liner, of the synthetic resin-coated, compressed-fiber type manufactured by Westinghouse.
The outer surface retains most of its original paint and the left side features the insignia (decal) of the Second Army Corps (II Corps), which took part in Operation Torch (Tunisia) and Operation Husky (Sicily) prior to fighting in the Italian campaign.
Khaki cotton web suspension, russet leather sweatband and blackened-brass A washers.

The Code provides additional penalties, including the confiscation of the items used or intended for committing the offence.
