Genuine WWII US Army M1 helmet, front rim seam and fixed loops, manufactured by McCord, shell number illegible.
OD 7 canvas chinstrap with brass buckle and hook.
The 34th Infantry Division insignia has been painted on the outer surface, while partial ASN K-2666 has been inked and written on the inner surface on multiple occasions.
Comes with its original liner, manufactured by Mine Safey Appliances, featuring khaki cotton web suspension and neckband, russet leather sweatband, OD-painted A washers, and leather chinstrap (fragile); the 34th Infantry Division insignia has been painted on the front, too.
Nice homogeneous set, in good overall condition.
