Helmet, M1, Fixed Loops, IMP Liner, Green A Washers

Genuine WWII US Army M1 helmet, front rim seam and fixed loops, manufactured by McCord, shell number 354C.

Early canvas chinstrap with brass hook and buckle.

Very good overall condition; comes with some original liner, made by International Molded Plastic Co.

The latter, which is in rather worn out condition, retains its khaki cotton web suspension (damaged) and neckband, leather sweatband, OD-painted A washers (oxidized), and a section of the leather chinstrap (cut off); some Private First Class rank stripe has been painted on the front.
