Helmet, M1, Fixed Loops, Brushed Concrete, Armored Bn., Named, with FIRESTONE Liner

Genuine WWII US Army M1 helmet, front rim seam and fixed loops, manufactured by McCord, shell number 371A.

Khaki canvas chinstrap with brass buckle and hook.

The outer surface of the shell shows a layer of brushed concrete, adorned with the Armored Forces generic insignia (left-hand side) and some unidentified insignia (right-hand side); name Bourgmeyer has been written in red letters on the inner surface.

Comes with some original liner, manufactured by Firestone, featuring khaki cotton web suspension and neckband, leather sweatband, and plain A washers (oxidized).

Quite good, worn condition.
